meet joe kippley
Joe was born and raised in Brookings, SD. He now lives in Sioux Falls with his wife, Amanda, and their two daughters. Various educational opportunities and Amanda’s active duty military service took Joe around the country. Joe is grateful to be able to raise his family in South Dakota. He sees public service as a responsibility to both thank those who came before him and to leave the community better off for those yet to come. Joe has built a career in healthcare administration. On November 8, 2022 he was elected to the Minnehaha County Commission and will begin his term in January.
Building for Tomorrow
Joe believes that now is a time for building. Our region has been blessed with economic growth, but this has also brought new challenges. The next generation of leaders should chart a course to the second half of the 21st century. We will need to build infrastructure and security as well as build community and trust. We must take a long-term view to make sure we stay rooted in our history while building a tomorrow that will make future generations proud.
